Dreamstrifer

So I'm applying for park ranger internships this summer. I'm so excited. I can't tell you how much this would be a dream come true. After this year, I have two more semesters before I graduate. Then hopefully I can get my dream job out west. And then just spend all my days hiking and telling people to stop littering in the national parks.

  It's been awhile since I updated this journal. I'm in my 30's now, and I'm working full time and unfortunately not doing as much costuming as I used to. I'm mostly writing, though. Don't have much to show for it, at least not online. I don't know. It's been a weird seven years. And they haven't been easy years either. I guess one of the most positive things that I've done is I started running. After being really sick (again) in 2015 I started running in 2016. I ran a half marathon in November. Hey. I've been... well.... It's complicated. I was so busy for awhile, and then in June I started getting sick. Extremely sick. I was okay for a couple weeks, but about two weeks into culinary school (going for baking and pastry arts) I had to rush to the ER. I'm not going to share the details since it's extremely gross and embarrassing, but it was serious. I should have had a follow up with my GI and general doctor, but... it was some awkward shit going down. Then my grandfather died. Then I got EVEN SICKER. Today I'm so bad I can barely get out of bed. I really hope I get better by tomorrow night, I have some Rifftrax Live to get to. ANYW
